YES I am still doing the bun challenge. I rocked up do's and buns with my mini twists (minus 2 days that I wore them down).
Last night I safely removed my mini twists using conditioner and water. Once all of the twists were out I washed my hair with Nourish Spa and conditioned with Tresemme naturals. I wrapped my hair in a towel to and allowed it to dry for 10-15 minutes. The I moisturized my hair with aloe vera gel, and raw shea butter. I pulled my hair into two large flat twists (like pig tails) and went on a mini date with hubby to get crepes and coffee and walk around the outdoor mall. :)
After that I came home and put my hair into 7 flat twists, sealing with a mixture of coconut oil and grape seed oil. In the front section I added little gel for hold. I wrapped my hair (like I wrapped my mini twists) and went to bed. This morning I took it down, swooped it, rolled it and pinned it. I used about 15 bobby pins.

Here is a side view..
The bun was just a tuck over and pin kind of deal
I love how soft and moisturized my hair is today. Its a happy day!
This is the roll in the back.. very simple!
And a great way to hide frizz!
